Installing the AIR runtime environment on an Android Emulator

To install the Adobe AIR rintime on your Android emulator, do the following.

  • Download the Android AIR apk. 
  • Navigate to your Android adb, it is in the AndroidSDK/platform tools 
  • Open and run your emulator 
  • Open a terminal or command prompt and type the following: adb install /path/to/your/AIR/runtime.apk 
 That should do it.
